Prayer Strategies

WEEK OF APRIL 11, 2016

PRAISE GOD. WHO IS ETERNAL!

“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I Timothy 1:17

“But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God, the eternal King.”

Jeremiah 10:10

God, You are the only God-eternal, immortal, invisible, our King for ever and ever. We bring You praise today and forever!

PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT ARE SELF-CONTROLLED

“Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

I Peter 1:13

“Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.”

Proverbs 25:28

Lord, we pray that the minds of the children would be self-controlled and focused on the task at hand, that of learning and growing at school, at home and in relationships with others. Do not allow this generation to be destroyed like a city whose walls are broken down, but may the walls be built and strengthened through self-control and walking with You in the light.

PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT ARE KIND TO OTHERS

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Ephesians 4:32

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

Colossians 3:12

May the character qualities of kindness, compassion, forgiveness, gentleness and patience be ever increasing in _______________’s life. Because of Your love and forgiveness she can reach out in kindness to others.

Please pray for the students and staff of Gibsonburg Schools and their superintendent, Tim Murray.

“The more praying there is in the world, the better the world will be; the mightier the forces against evil everywhere.”                                                                                                                                         – E. M. Bounds
