Praise our Strong God!

“Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understand in infinite.”                    Psalm 147:5

“Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.”   Psalm 24:8

God, You are the King who is strong and mighty. You are abundant in strength. We praise Your great name!

Pray for Hearts of Strength

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”                                                                  Deuteronomy 31:6

“Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.”                     I Corinthians 16:13

Lord, we ask for a generation of young men and women who are strong in character and of good courage, who do not give way to fear. May their beliefs and convictions be based on the foundation of Your truth. May they advance courageously in the battle, experiencing Your victory.

Pray for Hearts to Stand Strong on Behalf of Others

“Tell everyone who is discouraged, be strong and don’t be afraid! God is coming to your rescue!”                                                                                                                                                                                                   Isaiah 35:4

“Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves.”                                                                                                                                                                         Romans 15:1

Lord, we pray for all those in our school community who are discouraged. Place students and staff in strategic places to bear the weaknesses of those without strength. Come to their rescue.

Please pray for the students and staff of Lake Local Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Jim Witt.

“Without extended, concentrated prayer, the ministry of the Word withers. And when the ministry of the Word declines, faith and holiness decline. Activity may continue, but life and power and fruitfulness fade away. Therefore, whatever opposes prayer opposes the whole work of ministry.”                                       -John Piper, pastor and author
