PRAISE GOD, THE MESSIAH!

“The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, ‘We have found the Messiah.’ And he brought him to Jesus.”    John 1:40,41

“The woman said, ‘I know that Messiah’ (called Christ) ‘is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.’ Then Jesus declared, ‘I who speak to you am he.’”  John 4:25,26

Jesus, You are the Messiah, the Christ. You are the one who came to show us the Father and to die for us. We bring You praise during this Easter season, for humbling Yourself and becoming the perfect sacrifice for our sin.

PRAY FOR HEARTS OF PURITY

“I will walk in my house with blameless heart, I will set before my eyes no vile thing.”  Psalm 101:2,3

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in me.” Psalm 51:10

God, in the midst of evil and temptations that would seek to destroy the souls of our children, we ask that You would bless them with hearts of purity. May they come to You for cleansing and renewal and then set no vile thing before their eyes.

PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT CHOOSE WISE FRIENDS

“A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.” Proverbs 12:26

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Proverbs 18:23,24

We pray for positive friendships characterized by loyalty, truth, love, encouragement and hope. May students and staff be cautious in friendship and rely on Your strength to be a reliable friend to those You bring into their lives.

Please pray for the students and staff of Sylvania City Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Scott Nelson.

“Always look for ways to act upon the faith you display in your prayers.”  Anonymous
