PRAISE GOD FOR HIS JOY!

“I give You praise, Lord, because You have granted me eternal blessings and made me glad with the joy of Your presence.”                                                                                                                                                                              Psalm 21:6

“Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy are in His dwelling place.”                             I Chronicles 16:27

God, we praise You, the source of joy, the giver of joy, who fills us with joy in Your presence. May we experience your strength and joy moment by moment today.

 

PRAY FOR HEARTS OF JOY

“Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”                                                                                                                                                                                 I Thessalonians 5:16-18

“You made him glad with the joy of Your presence.”                                                                                                   Psalm 21:6

Lord, we pray that you will fill the students and teachers with joy as they begin a new year. May they experience the joy that is only found in You as they navigate new situations and relationships with confidence and peace.

 

PRAY FOR HEARTS EAGER TO LEARN

“Let the wise listen and add to their learning and let the discerning get guidance…”                                        Proverbs 1:5

“Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.”      Proverbs 9:9

 

Dear God, may _________listen and learn, growing in wisdom. May he be discerning and get guidance for academic pursuits as well as relationships. May he have a heart that desires to be taught and to experience Your righteousness.
