PRAISE GOD, THE AUTHOR OF NEW BEGINNINGS!

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”

“He who sits on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.'”
Revelation 21:12

Lord, we praise You for working in powerful ways, making all things new for this 2015-2016 school year. You are the creator of all, seated on Your throne. We lift our eyes to You.

PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT DESIRE TO LEARN

“Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.”
Proverbs 1:5

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:29,30

Lord, may _______ grow in wisdom, listening to and learning from You and from teachers. Add to _________’s learning, discernment and desire for godly guidance. Thank You for teaching _______ with gentleness and humility, giving ________ rest for his soul, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light.

PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT ARE FREE FROM FEAR

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10

“The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?”
Psalm 27:1

Lord, thank You that _______ does not need to be afraid, because of Your promise to strengthen, help and uphold by Your righteous right hand. You are _______’s light and salvation in the midst of new situations at school, new challenges and new opportunities. You say that perfect love casts out fear, so we pray Your love over _________.
