PRAISE GOD, OUR PRINCE OF PEACE!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

“Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way.”  II Corinthians 3:16

Jesus, during this Christmas season we pause to give You praise. You are the source of true peace, our Prince of Peace.

PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT RECEIVE GOD’S GRACE

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.”  Titus 2:11

“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”  Hebrews 4:16

God, we thank You for Your grace, this undeserved favor, purchased for us by Jesus’ sacrifice. May the children of our community recognize their need for grace and forgiveness and receive these priceless gifts that You freely offer.

PRAY FOR LOVING HEARTS

“Love one another deeply, from the heart.”  I Peter 1:22

“We love because He first loved us.”  I John 4:19

Thanks for Your great love for us, God! May our families and school communities be full of individuals whose relationships are marked by unconditional love.

Please lift up the children as they head home for Christmas break. Pray that they would be protected, provided for and make wise choices. In homes lacking basic necessities, we ask that You would connect them with the resources they need and that Jesus would be real to them this season.

“God usually sends revival on the waves of united, fervent, persistent prayer.”  -Stephen Kendrick
