WEEK OF FEBRUARY 1, 2016

By January 31, 2016Prayer Strategies

PRAISE GOD, WHO KEEPS HIS PROMISES!

“The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.”                                                 Psalm 145:13

“What God promised our fathers He has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus.”                     Acts 13:32,33

Lord, You are faithful in keeping every promise in Your word! Thanks that we can trust the words You speak.

PRAY FOR HEARTS TO BE REFRESHED

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”                                                                                                                                                                                        Acts 3:19

“(You) will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”                                                                                            Jeremiah 31:25

God, speak to our hearts, showing us our need to repent and turn to You instead of to the things that grieve You. We receive Your forgiveness and reject thoughts of guilt and condemnation. This will bring refreshment when we are weary and faint.

PRAY FOR BOLD HEARTS

“Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable Your servants to speak Your word with great boldness.”          Acts 4:29

“The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”                              Proverbs 28:1

In the midst of adversity and battle, may ____________ be enabled to speak Your word with great boldness. As ___________seeks to serve you and to live righteously, write Your message on his heart giving him a tremendous passion and boldness for You.

Please pray for the students and staff of Oregon City Schools and their superintendent, Hal Gregory.

“If the affections of the heart are not engaged in prayer, real character change and grown in Christ-likeness is impossible.”                                                                                                                                                                       -John Owen
