Praise God for His Love!

“For God so loved the world He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”                                                                                                                                                John 3:16

“But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.”                                                                                                                                                                                 Psalm 86:15

God, we give You thanks for your generous, steadfast, sacrificial love. Your love resulted in the gift of Your Son as the sacrificial payment for our sin.

Pray for Hearts that Love God

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”                                                                                                                                                                                                          Deuteronomy 6:5

“May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.”               2 Thessalonians 3:5

Lord, would you reveal the things that our school community loves. We pray that You would direct our hearts to love You, a foundation that cannot be shaken.

Pray for Hearts that Love Others

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love.” Romans 12:9-10

“A friend loves at all times.”                                                                                                                                 Proverbs 17:17

During this Valentine’s week, may everyone in our school community experience Your love. May those who know You extend sincere love, making a distinct impression on those who have yet to discover Your love. We pray that You would strengthen friendships as students hate what is evil and cling to what is good.

Please pray for the students & staff of schools in Michigan. We are not yet praying in their schools.

“Jesus died as He had lived-praying, forgiving, loving, sacrificing, trusting, quoting Scripture. If I die as I have lived, how will I die?                                                                                                                                                 -Nancy Leigh DeMoss
