PRAISE GOD THAT HE IS LIGHT!

“God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.”                                                                                                                               I John 1:5

“The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear?”                                                                                                           Psalm 27:1

God, we acknowledge that You are light, both physically and spiritually. Darkness flees from You. We bring You praise for Your perfection and light. In You we do not need to be afraid.

PRAY FOR HEARTS TO CHOOSE LIFE

“…I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may liv    Deuteronomy 30:19,20

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”            John 10:10

Lord, we thank You for giving us free will, allowing us to either choose or reject You, to choose or reject the life that You offer. May the children choose life, not being swayed by that which leads to death and destruction. You promise life to the full and we claim that for every classroom and for every home.

PRAY FOR HEARTS OF FORGIVENESS

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”                                Ephesians 4:32

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”                                                                                                                                                                                              Colossians 3:13

We are so grateful for the forgiveness You have provided through the death of Jesus. As we individually accept that gift we then have the power to be kind and compassionate, forgiving others just as You have forgiven us.

Please pray for the students and staff of Maumee City Schools and their superintendent, Todd Cramer.

“Prayer is what opens up the floodgates for God to come down and be involved in our everyday circumstances.”           -Pricilla Shirer
