Praise God, Our Protector!

“May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.”                                                                                                                                                                                                 Psalm 20:1

“But the Lord is faithful and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”   2 Thessalonians 3:3

God, we give You praise for Your strength and protection. You are our creator and our protector.

Pray for Hearts to Extend Protection to Others

“…may Your love and Your truth always protect me.”                                                                   Psalm 40:11

“Discretion will protect you and understanding will guard you.”                                               Proverbs 2:11

May our school communities be emotional safe zones as students and staff extend protection to each other by speaking the truth in love. God, as understanding and discretion are exercised in wisdom, we trust that Your protection will cover the minds and hearts of our students.

Pray for Schools to be Places of Safety

“Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.”    Psalm 5:11

Lord, though we do not understand Your thoughts and ways, what You allow and what Your hand stays, we acknowledge our trust in You. May our school communities be places protected from ill intent, where children are free to learn, play, grow and rejoice in You.

Please pray for the students and staff of Oregon City Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Hal Gregory.
