Praise God, Who is with us!

“The angel went to (Mary) and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”                                                                                                                                                                                        Luke 1:28

“Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which translated means, God with us.”                                                                                                                                                                          Matthew 1:22,23

Lord, we praise and thank You for being with us. Although You are the creator of the universe and are the King of Kings, You humble Yourself and initiate a relationship with us.

Pray for Hearts to Experience God with them through the Local Church

“When we arrived, the brothers & sisters in Jerusalem welcomed us warmly.”              Acts 20:28

“…each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.”                Acts 2:47

God, during this Christmas season we pray that You would draw every family in our city to attend a Bible believing church. May they be welcomed warmly and place their faith in You: Emmanuel, God with us. As they observe the genuine love of brothers and sisters in Christ, may they desire always to be active in the local church.

Please lift up the students as they head home for Christmas break. Pray that they would be protected, provided for and would make wise choices. In homes lacking basic necessities, we ask that You would connect families with the resources they need and that Jesus would be real to them during this season.

“God goes to those who have time to hear him-and so on this cloudless night he went to simple shepherds.”                                                                                                                                                                              -Max Lucado
