What is the Prayer Changes Everything Challenge?

Over the past decade, we’ve seen God’s power transforming our school communities in remarkable ways through weekly Keep Watch prayer walks. Struggling students are finding new hope, academic performance is on the rise, school staff are experiencing deeper unity, and teachers are delaying early retirement. Even our volunteers are witnessing answers to prayer unfold before their eyes.
The story of Daniel in the Old Testament reminds us of the profound impact one faithful person can have through prayer. Faced with the threat of the lions’ den for praying to anyone except for King Darius, Daniel continued to pray three times a day, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. His courage led to divine protection and, ultimately, to a powerful proclamation from the king:
For He is the living God and He endures forever…He rescues and He saves. Daniel 6:26-27
Daniel’s faith and prayer honored God and changed lives. Today, in a similar way, God is raising up faithful people across our nation—praying, giving, and serving to bring lasting transformation to our schools. Together, we are trusting God to move powerfully in our communities through the strategic vehicle of prayer.
This year, we’re celebrating an inspiring milestone: 385 volunteers praying weekly in 172 schools across four states. Yet, with 121,671 schools across our nation, we believe God has even greater things in store.
As we approach the end of 2024, we’re launching a bold Prayer Changes Everything Challenge. Will you help us meet these goals in the final 8 weeks of the year?
