Prayer Focus

Week of September 21st, 2026 | Courage

Silent Prayer Reflection

As you gather with your group, pause for a moment of silence, asking God to prepare your heart to pray.

Praise God, the Source of Our Change

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Father God, You are the source of courage. With You, we do not need to fear. May each person in our school community experience life change as they lean into You, who promise to be with us in every situation and circumstance.

Pray for Hearts that Rely Fully on God for Courage

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Ephesians 6:10

Lord, Your word promises that You will give Your people courage. As students take steps of faith this week in participating in See You At The
Pole (SYATP), we pray that our entire school community would know that their courage is not found in themselves, but in the God of the universe, who is the source of all power and who has promised good to His people. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Encouraging Prayer Quote

We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.

Oswald Chambers, an early 20th-century evangelist, most known for his
devotional My Utmost for His Highest
