Silent Prayer Reflection
As you gather with your group, pause for a moment of silence, asking God to prepare your heart to pray.
Praise God, for His Word
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16,17
God, we praise and thank You for giving us Your perfect Word, through which You teach and train us. Open our hearts to accept correction from Your Word. May staff and students alike value the Bible and spend time in it daily, so they are ready and equipped for every situation.
Pray for Hearts to Respond to Your Word
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105
Father, in a world where truth is considered by many to be relative, we stand firmly on the solid foundation of Your Word. May Christ followers in our school believe and obey Your Scripture. Give students courage to participate in Bring Your Bible to School Day on Thursday, October 1 . We pray for this opportunity to create in their peers a curiosity that draws them to Your light. In Jesus name, Amen.
