Praise God, For His Wisdom

“We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.”  1 Corinthians 2:6-7

God, we praise You because You ARE wisdom.  You are the source of wisdom for all eternity! Even though we may not be able to fully grasp the depths of Your wisdom, we praise You for this mystery and how You sent Your son, Jesus, so we can be in relationship with You and better understand the glory You have in store for us through all eternity.

Pray for Hearts That Seek Wisdom

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”   James 1:5

Father, we pray for every member of this school community to seek Your wisdom above all other sources.  It is so easy in our culture to turn to books or the internet or to friends when looking for answers, but many times these sources leave us void of the truth. True wisdom is found in Your word, the Bible.  We pray for students, teachers, and staff to be drawn to the wisdom found within its pages on a regular basis. We trust You to graciously listen and answer as hearts earnestly seek Your wisdom.

Pray for Hearts to Teach Wisdom

“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”  Colossians 3:16

Lord, even though the world is pulling teachers away from Your wise teachings, we believe the Holy Spirit is strong enough to make the Biblical truths found on the pages of scripture come alive in fresh ways. We pray as things are taught in this school, they would supernaturally align with the pages of scripture and relay Your timeless wisdom. May Your truth permeate every lesson and may the enemy’s lies be confused and not allowed to reach the ears, minds, or hearts of the children in this city.

“Prayer is an act of faith. Just by praying to God, you are declaring your trust in someone other than yourself.”  Charles Stanley, Founder of In Touch Ministries

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
