Praise God, Who is Worthy of Respect
“Observe my days of rest as holy days and respect my holy tent. I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:30
God, Your tent, Your dwelling place, is holy because You are holy. We respect and honor You, the Almighty God.
Pray for Hearts of Respect Toward Authority
“Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it, but whoever respects a command is rewarded.” Proverbs 13:13
We pray that students in every classroom will act with respect toward teachers, not scorning their instruction, but receiving it with humble hearts, especially in this situation ____________. May those in authority believe the best of their students, treating them with respect, as well.
Pray for Hearts that Speak Respectfully about their Hope in God
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” I Peter 3:15
May students who do not know Jesus personally ask those students who do, the reason for the hope that is in them. We pray that these life-giving conversations would be motivated by love and full of purpose. May each young man or woman feel respected and heard and their thirst for the living God be quenched.
