Praise God, Who Waits
“So the Lord must wait for you to come to Him, so He can show you His love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God.” Isaiah 30:18
We give You praise, Lord, for Your loving, compassionate heart. You long for us to know You. We are grateful that You are not quick to anger, but that You wait for us to return to You. We give You praise.
Pray for Hearts that Wait for God
“But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.” Micah 7:7
Remind us, Lord, that You are Sovereign, and that we can trust Your purposes and timing. Forgive us when we are impatient. Instead, may we watch expectantly and wait on You to work. We need You to bring transformation in our school especially in this area _____________. We believe that each person in our school community will experience the joy of seeing You work on their behalf.
Pray for Hearts to Wait in Prayer on Behalf of Others
“In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly.” Psalm 5:3
You listen to our prayers for the schools which are on our hearts, Jesus. You hear and You answer. We affirm our trust in You as we pray and as we wait. We believe that You will work powerfully in the hearts of the students and staff, bringing encouragement, hope, peace and salvation.
