30 Seconds of Silent Reflection
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:17
Praise God, Who is Pure
But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3
God, we praise you because you are perfect and holy. You are pure. Our sins once separated us from you, your purity and holiness. We praise you for the cleansing work done on the cross. Thank you for the promise of forgiveness and the hope that when Christ appears we shall be like him and see him as He is. Thank you, God!
We Pray for Hearts that are Pure
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
Father, we lift up all believing students, and ask you to draw them close to you. Give them the boldness to set examples in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity. We pray that through their words and actions, non-believing students and staff will want what they have, seek you and come into a saving relationship with you. We pray specifically for __________. Bless this school and those in it, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
