Holy God, high and exalted-You are the creator of all things. We give You praise for humbling Yourself to speak with Moses, and now with us, as a friend.
Pray for Hearts to Experience the Benefits of Friendship
“When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes, giving him twice as much as before.” Job 42:10
We declare that students and staff will be blessed and strengthened with strong, healthy friendships. May they pray for each other especially in this situation ____________. May students reach out to those who are lonely and in need of genuine friends.
Pray for Hearts that are Cautious in Friendships
“A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.” Proverbs 12:26
We pray against dysfunctional friendships. As new interpersonal circles are being created, may students be cautious and discerning in choosing friends, that they would not be led astray or ensnared. Change the hearts of those who are easily angered or seek to lead others into hurtful paths. We are expectant to see the fruit of the new friendships that You are creating this year.
