Praise God, the Prince of Peace
“For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
“Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way.” 2 Corinthians 3:16
Jesus, during this Christmas season we pause to give You praise. You are the source of true peace, our Prince of Peace.
Pray for Hearts of Peace
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.” Colossians 3:15
“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace.” Romans 14:19
God, we need Your peace in our schools, our classrooms and our hearts. Comfort students who are fearful in the aftermath of the recent school shooting. We pray that Your peace would rule in our hearts and that the students would make every effort to do what leads to peace.
Pray for Peace in Families
“Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” I Peter 3:11
Heavenly Father, we recognize that many families are enjoying celebrating the Christmas season together, while other homes are filled with turmoil. During this challenging time would You so invade every home, that each family member would pursue You and the peace You bring. May our homes be places of refuge, love and peace.
