Praise the God of Hope!

“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him.”                                                                     Psalm 62:5

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”                                                                                                                                         Romans 15:13

Jesus, You are the source of hope. We give You praise for the rest, joy, and peace You offer as we trust in You.

Pray for Hearts to Find Hope in God

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”                                                                                  Psalm 31:24

“Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.”                                                     Psalm 42:6

Instead of putting our hope in academic performance, athletic accomplishment, relationships or material possessions, may our school community first put their hope in You.

Pray for Hearts of Hope to Replace Despair

“Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, because I will praise Him once again, since His presence saves me and He is my God.”                                                                                       Psalm 43:5

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”                                                                                Psalm 147:3

Lord, we pray for each person who is in despair, feeling hopeless and perhaps contemplating taking their own life. Move powerfully, healing the brokenhearted, bringing Your hope and presence as you bind up their wounds. May students be aware of those around them who need a listening ear, an arm around the shoulder, a word of encouragement and step forward as bearers of hope.

Please pray for the students and staff of Bedford Public Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Mike Kleinhans.

“If you only pray when you feel like it, Satan will make sure you never feel like it.” Rick Warren
