Praise God, Who Gives Us Purpose

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”              Romans 8:28

God, we praise You for putting a call on each of our lives.  You knit us together in our mother’s womb for a set purpose and we believe we are fearfully and wonderfully made.  We thank you for perfectly working things out in our life according to Your will and Your purpose, even when we cannot see the path ahead.  We trust You and praise You and give you all the glory today!

Pray for Hearts That Seek the Lord’s Purpose

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”   Proverbs 19:21

Lord, we pray for each staff member, teacher, and student in our school community to feel the call and purpose you have for their lives today.  May they seek your wisdom and authority in their lives above all else as they serve and trust in You.

Pray for Hearts to Live According to Their Purpose

“But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? ‘Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’  Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?”  Romans 9:20-21

What a privilege it is to be molded and made in Your image, Lord.  We were each created for a set purpose at a set time and You have a unique plan for all our lives.  We cry out, God, asking you to put a longing in the heart of each person in this school to learn and understand the purpose You have for their lives.  May our school community embrace the individual purpose for each student in a way that brings glory and honor to You, our creator.  We especially pray for __________________ to understand the heavenly purpose and call on their lives.

“As is the business of tailors to make clothes and cobblers to make shoes, so it is the business of Christians to pray.” Martin Luther, German theologian.

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
