30 Seconds of Silent Reflection

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:14

Praise God our Forgiver

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9

Lord, we praise you for your unconditional love. We thank you for being willing to forgive us no matter how many times we mess up or make mistakes. We just need to repent (be sorry for what we did), confess it, and ask you for forgiveness. Help us to be quick to repent and ask you for forgiveness whenever we have broken your laws or done things contrary to your Word.

Pray for Hearts that are Willing to Forgive Others

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14,15

Lord, you said in your word that if we want to be forgiven, we have to forgive others. This can be difficult. Also, when people keep doing things against us, challenge us, defy rules, etc. we may feel like the offender does not really mean they are sorry, so why should I keep forgiving them? Help me to forgive _______. If I don’t forgive them, you won’t forgive me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Encouraging Prayer Quote

The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, ‘O God forgive me,’ or ‘Help me.’
Billy Graham, one of the most influential Christian leaders of the 20th century whose broadcasts and world tours spanned 6+ decades
