Praise God, Who Created Work and For Whom We Work

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

Praise You, Heavenly Father, for giving us work to do. Thank You for giving us gifts and talents to serve You by also serving each other. We offer our work as worship to You today.

Pray for Hearts that have a Good Attitude About Work

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23

We pray for hearts to have a good attitude towards work today. Where work is hard, please give perseverance to keep trying and to celebrate small victories. Give inspiration and creativity for new teaching strategies to reach all students. We especially pray for ___________ in classrooms today. Turn apathy into curiosity, defeat into victory, and hopelessness into hope.

Pray for Hearts to Make Work Worship

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:10

We declare that You, Jesus, are the creator of all things, including work. Transform hearts to see work as an opportunity to transform homes, schools, and communities by making work a way to worship You. We pray for hearts to see beyond serving ourselves or achievements, to serving others and You.

“You and I are the primary instruments through which God works in this world. Knowing that, that your work is nothing less than the means through which God feeds, heals, and sustains this world, lead into your work with joy, excellence, and love today. This is how God uses your work to answer prayers.” Jordan Raynor, author, podcaster, entrepreneur

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
