Welcome back as you cover your school in prayer! This semester we will trust the Lord together for the immeasurably more as His power and presence are experienced in our school communities. You will notice 1-2 blank spaces incorporated into this semester’s prayer focus sheets. Please pause for a few seconds at the blank for each person to silently pray for the person or situation that God puts on your heart. You are loved and appreciated! New Year’s Blessings, Wendy

Praise our God who Makes All Things New!

“And He who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’”  Revelation 21:5

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”  Isaiah 43:18,19

Lord, we lift our hearts in praise to You as this new year begins. You are the Almighty One who makes all things new.

Pray for Hearts with New Attitudes

“In your relationships with one another, have the same attitude as Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5

“…be new in the attitude of your minds…” Ephesians 4:23

In this season of new beginnings, we lift up our school community to You to create new heart attitudes. Teachers and students need a fresh perspective in their relationships with each other and also regarding ___________________.  Jesus, You are our model and provide the power to make significant and necessary changes in our hearts.

Pray for New Hearts of Love

“And I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”  Ezekiel 36:26

“A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”         John 13:34-35

Jesus, we invite You to make all things new in 2022; spiritually, emotionally, relationally, academically. Remove the things that harden hearts in our school community, creating new, tender hearts and new love toward You and others.

“Persistence in prayer for someone who we don’t like brings about a remarkable change in attitude.” F. F. Bruce, Scottish Biblical scholar

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
