Praise God for His Humility
“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death-even death on a cross!” Philippians 2:8
God, we praise You for Your humility. You left heaven and became obedient to death so that we might know You. What amazing grace!
Pray for Hearts of Humility
“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2
May students and staff trade pride and disgrace for humility and wisdom. This shift in mindset and heart can only happen as members of our school community recognize that life is not all about them and lift their eyes to You, Lord.
Pray for Humble Hearts that Value Others
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
God, we pray that each person in our school community will clothe themselves with humility, valuing others above themselves. May they look for ways to serve and encourage others, especially in regard to _______________. Replace selfishness with care and compassion. This heart attitude can only come from You.
