Praise our Heavenly Father who sent His only Son, Jesus, as a Servant
In your relationship with one another have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: who, being in the very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made nothing by taking the very nature of a servant. Philippians 2:5-7
We praise you, Jesus, for setting an example of being a servant by serving the very ones that you left the throne of heaven to become human and experience our worries and struggles.
Pray for Hearts that Serve
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 11:45
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to follow your supreme example of a servant – you gave up your life so that we may have eternal life with you. Help us to obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit to serve others by humbling ourselves and thinking of others before ourselves. In Jesus’ name, amen.
