Praise God, our Teacher!

“Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through the whole countryside. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised Him.”  Luke 4:14,15

Jesus, we give You thanks and praise for Your heart of instruction. Patience and wisdom flow from You freely as You teach us many things in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for Hearts Taught by God

“Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.”   Psalm 25:5

God, may the adventure of learning be fresh each day for our students. May each person in our school community put themselves in a position to be guided by Your truth as they rely on Your teaching in every subject, especially in _____________________.

Pray for Hearts to Teach Others

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” 2 Timothy 2:2

May the efforts of classroom teachers be multiplied, encouraging them daily in their vital roles. May they be people of integrity who are role models, their impact multiplied in the lives of students who will in turn teach others. During Teacher Appreciation Week, (May 1-8) may students and parents across our nation express gratitude for teachers.

“The city will go to the persistent. There is a slow-burn persistence to prayerwalking. Generations of harm are being undone. Seeds of new life are being planted, germinating underneath the surface of everyday life. Prayerwalkers need to be patient because God is patient. He is unfolding, step by step, something glorious for His Son in every community.”   Steve Hawthorne, author

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
