Praise God, Our Rock!
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer: My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2
“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.” Psalm 26:4
God, we praise You, our rock, our fortress and our deliverer. We place our trust in You.
Pray for Hearts to Stand on the Rock
“They remembered that God was their rock, that the Most High God was their Redeemer.” Psalm 78:35
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” Psalm 40:2
Lord, when we allow our thoughts and actions to drift from You, we can find ourselves in a slimy pit, having slipped from the rock of sure footing. Remind each of us that You, the Most High God, desire to be our Rock and our Redeemer. Thank You for providing a firm place on which to stand.
Pray for Family Relationships Built on God’s Rock-Solid Foundation
“The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” Matthew 7:25
God, we trust that during this stormy season when many families have experienced extended time together, that their foundation would be built on You. Protect and provide for families as You reveal where changes in attitude or action are needed.
