PRAISE GOD, OUR PROVIDER!
“So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” Genesis 50:21
“He provided redemption for His people; He ordained His covenant forever-holy and awesome is His name.” Psalm 111:9
Lord, we give You thanks and praise because You will provide both physically and spiritually for the children as they transition to being at home for the summer. Holy and awesome is Your name!
PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT ARE FREE FROM FEAR
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
“The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
Dear God, thanks that when those in our school communities turn to You, they do not need to be afraid. You will be their strength, help, light and salvation. We ask that You protect them from anything that would threaten and replace fear with peace.
PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT LOVE TO DO RIGHT
“Stop doing wrong, learn to do right!” Isaiah 1:17
“As for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right.” II Thessalonians 3:13
As the students head into the summer months, may they make wise choices in every situation, even when pressured by family or friends to engage in foolish behavior. May they stop doing wrong and learn to do right. As they seek to obey You and their parents, protect them so that they may redeem the time and make the most of every opportunity.
Please pray for the students and staff of Eastwood Schools and their superintendent, Mr. Brent Welker.
