Praise God, the Source of Unity

“For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we will certainly also be united with Him in a resurrection like His.” Romans 6:5

We give You praise, God, as the source of unity. What hope You offer as we are united with You in Your death and look forward to being united with You in resurrection.

Pray for Hearts of Unity

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”  Psalm 113:1

“Also in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the Lord.”   II Chronicles 30:12

Lord, we pray against division and strife and ask that You would create unity in the hearts of students and staff in every school building in our city. May a fresh movement of Your Spirit produce many unified followers of Jesus.

Pray for Believers Serving in our Schools to Work Together in Unity

We give You thanks, God, for the opportunity to represent You in our school communities. We do not take for granted the doors You have opened. Our prayer is that believers would work well together in our schools, not competing but honoring and praying for one another. “…I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel” (Philippians 1:27). Bless and increase this work that hearts may be transformed and needs met.

We pray for the students and staff of Eastwood Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Brent Welker.

“There is no other effort comparable with prayer to God. When you undertake any other good work, and persevere in it, you gain rest. But prayer is a battle all the way to the last breath.” The Desert Fathers
