Praise God, Our Teacher
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8
God, thank you for keeping Your loving eye on us and for teaching us in the way we should go. We praise You for guiding us and walking with us through life. What a blessing it is to have a personal relationship with You, Lord, and to have Your presence in our lives.
Pray for Teachable Hearts
“Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.” Proverbs 9:9
Father, we ask for all in this school to be teachable and open to learning new things. We pray that concepts taught lead to true wisdom and righteousness. Bless the teachers and guide them as they prepare their lessons. May instruction be sound, true and logical rather than based on worldly or trendy concepts. Help students get the support and encouragement they need at home so they come to school ready to learn.
Pray for Believing Hearts to Lean into the Teachings of God’s Word
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe that the Bible is living and active and makes a difference in how we think and live life. Lord, we lift up believers in this school and ask that they be grounded in Your word. May they lean into Your direct teaching. Holy Spirit, teach, rebuke, correct and train them in righteousness, so that they may be equipped to minister to this school community.
