Praise our Sovereign God!

“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever!” Romans 11:36

“The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.” Psalm 103:19

Sovereign Lord, You are above and before all things, as creator and King of all. We come to You, grateful that You are in control.

Pray for Grateful Hearts

“I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.” Psalm 9:1

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore, my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him.” Psalm 28:7

God, thanks for Your work in our school communities. We see and experience great needs but we are grateful for Your deeds in the physical and the spiritual realms. May You be the strength, shield and helper of each person in this school, producing hearts overflowing with joy.

Pray for all to Experience Your Sovereign Care at Thanksgiving

Lord, we are grateful for the miraculous ways You have established and sustained our country. We ask You to prepare our hearts to celebrate this provision on Thanksgiving, along with family and friends. However, we recognize that many are not experiencing Your great deeds and that brokenness can exist even if a home is filled with delicious food. Some children hold to the slim hope that on Thursday they will eat a warm meal from their sparse kitchen. “You are close to the brokenhearted and You save those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). We ask You to meet every need.

Please pray for the students and staff of North Central Local Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. William Hanak.

“Gratitude is an offering precious in the sight of God, and it is one that the poorest of us can make and be not poorer but richer for having made it.”   -A. W. Tozer, American pastor and author. Born 1897.
