Praise our Sovereign God!
“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever!” Romans 11:36
“The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.” Psalm 103:19
Sovereign Lord, You are above and before all things, as creator and King of all. We come to You, grateful that You are in control.
Pray for Hearts to Recognize God’s Sovereignty
“How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but You, as we have heard with our own ears. 2 Samuel 7:22
“But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all Your deeds.” Psalm 73:28
God, may our school community recognize that You are Sovereign, having rule and authority over all. There is no God like You. May each person hear with their own ears Your mighty deeds and draw near to You.
Pray for all to Experience Your Sovereign Care at Thanksgiving
Lord, we are grateful for the miraculous ways You have established and sustained our country throughout history. Thank You for preparing our hearts to celebrate this provision on Thanksgiving. However, we recognize that many are not experiencing Your care and that brokenness can exist even if a home is filled with delicious food. Some children hold to the slim hope that on Thursday they will eat a warm meal from their sparse kitchen. “You are close to the brokenhearted and You save those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). We ask You to meet every need.
“Gratitude is an offering precious in the sight of God, and it is one that the poorest of us can make and be not poorer but richer for having made it.” -A.W. Tozer, pastor/author. Born 1897.
Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
