Praise our God of Mercy
“The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.” James 5:11
God, we lift our hearts in thankfulness for Your mercy, which is a quality intrinsic to Your nature. We are so grateful that You took on our sin and paid our penalty that we may experience Your love and forgiveness.
Pray for Hearts to Experience God’s Mercy
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
Heavenly Father, what a privilege to come directly to Your throne of grace. We do not need to grovel or attempt a certain number of good works to experience Your mercy and grace. May each person in our school community experience Your mercy personally.
Pray for Hearts to Extend Mercy
“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7
Opportunities abound for students and staff to extend mercy within their classrooms, during extra-curricular activities and in friendships. We pray that You would create beauty even in challenging interactions as members of our school community treat each other with mercy and kindness, especially around the issue of _____________________.
