Praise God, Our Provider!

“So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.”                           Genesis 50:21

“He provided redemption for His people; He ordained His covenant forever-holy and awesome is His name.”                                                                                                                                                                    Psalm 111:9

Lord, we give You thanks and praise that we do not need to be afraid because You will provide, both physically and spiritually. Thanks for Your heart to provide for the children.

Pray for Hearts to Extend God’s Provision

“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.”                                                                                                                                                                                        Proverbs 19:17

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”         Proverbs 11:25

May the students of our city look beyond themselves and notice those in need, whether the need is help with school work, warm clothes, food, prayer or a word of encouragement. May our city prosper and be refreshed as people give to others out of Your blessings.

Pray for Those Living in Poverty to Experience God’s Provision

Lord, many needs abound in our city. Homes are devastated by financial and/or spiritual poverty. Scripture points to Your heart for the poor. “…from Your bounty, O God, You provided for the poor” (Psalm 68:10). May our school communities recognize and experience Your provision.

Please pray for the students and staff of Maumee City Schools and their Superintendent, Dr. Todd Cramer.

“The devil smiles when we make plans. He laughs when we get too busy. But he trembles when we pray-especially when we pray together.”                                            -Corrie ten Boom, helped save 800 Jews during the Holocaust
