Praise God, the Source of All Truth
Before He ascended to heaven, Jesus told his disciples, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” John 16:13
Jesus, we pray that Your Spirit would descend upon our schools and that all those who have been blinded by the world’s schemes or their own deceptive reasoning, would be guided into Your truth. We pray for a great awakening in our schools!
Pray for Hearts to Know the Truth
Psalm 139 tells us that everything God does is intentional and done with great care:
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.”
Father in Heaven, we pray that students attending this school will today and every day understand the truth about themselves: that they are made in Your image, and their true identity is found only in You and Your ways.
Pray for Hearts to Be Set Free by the Truth
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Lord, we pray that children will come to know You, and by knowing You will know truth and in knowing truth will be set free, especially from _______________.
“Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?” Author Corrie Ten Boom, who with her father and sister, saved some 800 Jews during the World War II holocaust.
