As you gather with your group, pause for a moment of silence, asking God to prepare your heart to pray.
Praise Our God of Forgiveness
You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to You. Psalm 86:5
Father God, we praise You, the One who is forgiving and good. May our school community call out to You.
Pray for Hearts that Need Forgiveness
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9
God, we pray against shame, hopelessness, and despair. We ask that every student and staff member would instead confess (agree) with You about their sin. May repentance produce purity of heart and cleansing from all unrighteousness. Guide each person in receiving healing while working through issues that prevent them from walking in Your grace, mercy, and forgiveness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
