Praise God, Our Healer!

“For I am the Lord, who heals you.” Exodus 15:26

“He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:3

Lord, we lift up our hearts in praise to You, our healer. What great love You have for us in giving Yourself over to death so that we could be healed physically and spiritually.

Pray for Healing from Disease

“Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Psalm 103:2,3

“Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” Matthew 4:23

May the hearts of those in each school community recognize that Jesus is the One who brings healing. We pray that each person would trust the Lord for healing and restoration from CoVid and other physical challenges. May they also receive the good news of the kingdom-forgiveness of sin and restored relationship with God.

Pray for Healed Hearts

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

“So then, banish anxiety from your heart.” Ecclesiastes 11:10

We call upon You, God, to be close to those who are anxious, brokenhearted or crushed in spirit during this time of crisis. Many students, staff and parents are dealing with negative emotions surrounding the circumstances of these unusual learning environments. Whether challenges from online learning, isolation from peers or struggles at home, may each person turn to You for hope and healing.

“There are parts of our calling, works of the Holy Spirit, and defeats of the darkness that will come no other way than through furious, fervent, faith-filled unceasing prayer.” Beth Moore, author and Bible teacher
