PRAISE GOD, OUR PROTECTOR!

“You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance…” Psalm 32:7

“But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.”                                                                                                                       Psalm 5:11

God, we give You praise for Your protection from trouble as You surround us with songs of deliverance. We praise You for being the hiding place, refuge, and protection for those who love You. Thank You for surrounding us with songs of deliverance whenever we are afraid.

PRAY FOR HEARTS OF HOPE

“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him.”                                                                            Psalm 62:5

“Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.”                                                            Psalm 42:6

Lord, thank You for the hope that is found in a relationship with You. May the students of our city put their hope in You instead of in themselves, in relationships or in circumstances. You are the One who brings lasting hope and rest.

PRAY FOR HEARTS THAT SUBMIT TO AUTHORITY

“Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Titus 3:1

“Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden…”                                                                                           Hebrews 13:17

May every student be quick to obey in the classroom and in the home, being subject to their authorities. Change the atmosphere, O God, in each school so that each teacher’s work is a joy, not a burden because the children willingly and cheerfully submit to authority.

Please pray for the student and staff of Eastwood Schools and their Superintendent, Brent Welker.

“God tells us to burden Him with whatever burdens us.”                                                                                         Anonymous
