Silent Prayer Reflection
As you gather with your group, pause for a moment of silence, asking God to prepare your heart to pray.
Praise God, Who Created Work and For Whom We Work
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
Praise You, Heavenly Father, for giving us work to do. Thank You for giving us gifts and talents to serve You by also serving each other. We offer our work in this school as worship to You today.
Pray for Hearts to Make Work Worship
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:10
Thank You, Jesus, for the example of always being about Your Father’s work. Open each heart in our school community to see work as an opportunity to learn and grow by making it a way to worship You. May each student and staff member see beyond selfish ambition to serving others by working for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Encouraging Prayer Quote
You and I are the primary instruments through which God works in this world. Knowing that, that your work is nothing less than the means through which God feeds, heals, and sustains this world, lead into your work with joy, excellence, and love today. This is how God uses your work to answer prayers.
