Praise God, Our Source of Hope

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”  1 Timothy 6:17

God, we praise You for the hope that we have in You and You alone.  We thank You for richly providing us with everything for our enjoyment when we put our hope in You.  Wealth is so uncertain, but You are our constant source of hope.

Pray for Hearts that Will Put Their Hope In God

“…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Lord, we pray that when students and staff grow weary this school year that You would renew their strength and would help them run the race set out before them as they put their hope in You . When despair sets in, especially over ___________________ , may they turn to You as their true source of hope so they will be able to  soar on wings like eagles.

Pray for Hearts to be Full of Hope

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Jeremiah 29:11

We pray for hearts to experience the hope that God gives.  As a result, may each student and staff member prosper this school year and have a bright future.

“Whatever is the object of a saint’s hope is the subject of his prayer.”  William Gurnall, English author and Anglican clergyman

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
