Praise the God of Hope!

“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him.”   Psalm 62:5

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  Romans 15:13

Jesus, You are our source of hope, joy and peace amidst global atrocities and health concerns. We give You praise for the tremendous power of Your hope.

Pray for Hearts to Find Hope in God

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”   Psalm 31:24

“Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.”  Psalm 42:6

God, You know we tend to put our hope in academic performance, athletic accomplishment, relationships, health and material possessions. Much has been taken away, leaving many hopeless. May every person in our school community be strong, take heart and put their hope in You.

Pray for Hearts of Hope to Replace Despair

“Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, because I will praise Him once again, since His presence saves me and He is my God.”  Psalm 43:5

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”  Psalm 147:3

Lord, we pray for each person who is in despair, feeling isolated and hopeless. Move powerfully, healing the brokenhearted, bringing Your hope and presence as You bind up their wounds. May teachers be aware of students who need a listening ear, an arm around the shoulder or a word of encouragement, stepping forward as bearers of hope.

“No matter how dark and hopeless a situation might seem, never stop praying.” -Reverend Billy Graham, American Evangelist

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
