Praise God for Trading our Problems for His Peace
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6,7
Father God, thank You for inclining Your ear to hear our prayers. We praise You that as students and staff turn to You in prayer, You trade their sorrows, concerns and anxieties with Your perfect peace. We praise You that Your peace will guard their minds.
Pray for Hearts to Experience His Gift of Peace that Combats Fear
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, Neither let them be afraid” John 14:27
Father God, we thank You for your gift of peace that comforts us in this uncertain world that offers us so many things to be afraid of. With grateful hearts we pray that students and staff would turn to You even in situations such as __________ and receive the peace of Your abiding presence in their lives.
Pray for Hearts that Receive Hope that Fills us with Peace
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13
Father God, with grateful praise we thank You for being the God of Hope. We pray that our schools, students and staff would be filled with the inexplicable joy and peace that is only found in You, especially during this season when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We ask that hopelessness would be quenched by the Living Water of Your Spirit and that an exuberant hope for their future would take its place, saturating them in Your peace.
