Praise God, Our Source of Joy

“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”  John 15:11

God, we praise You that You exemplify joy. Thank You that Your desire is for Your joy to be in us and for us to experience complete joy.  We praise You for Your loving kindness toward us.

Pray for Hearts to Experience Joy

“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”  Psalm 16:11

Lord, we pray that students and staff would experience more than temporal happiness. We pray specifically for those that are seeking satisfaction in _____________________________. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them that they may find the hope and joy that they are seeking in You. May they find fullness of joy in Your presence.

Pray for Hearts to Expect Joy

“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”                  Psalm 30:5

God, we know that students face many difficulties at home and at school. We pray for those dealing with struggles socially, academically, physically, and emotionally. We pray that You would send hope, that students would know that Your mercies are new every morning. We pray that with the dawning of each new day, students would expect opportunities to rejoice.

“Prayer lays hold of God’s plan and becomes the link between his will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit’s prayer.” – Elisabeth Elliot, Missionary, Author, and Speaker

Mission: to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities.
