Praise God, our Teacher!

“He began teaching them many things.”                                                                                                         Mark 6:24

“Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through the whole countryside. He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised Him.”                                            Luke 4:14,15

Jesus, we give You thanks and praise for Your heart of instruction. Patience and wisdom flow from You freely as You teach us many things in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for Hearts Eager to Learn

“Let the wise listen and add to their learning and let the discerning get guidance…”                         Proverbs 1:5

“Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.”                                                                                                                                                                                                 Proverbs 9:9

God, may each student listen and learn, growing in wisdom. May they be discerning and get guidance for academic pursuits as well as relationships. May they desire to be taught and to experience Your righteousness.

Pray for Hearts to Teach Others

As students learn and grow in character, may they be eager to patiently instruct their peers (and the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others (2 Timothy 2:2). May the efforts of classroom teachers be multiplied as students reinforce concepts with each other.

Please pray for the students and staff of Rossford Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Dan Creps.

“The city will go to the persistent. There is a slow-burn persistence to prayerwalking. Generations of harm are being undone. Seeds of new life are being planted, germinating underneath the surface of everyday life. Prayerwalkers need to be patient because God is patient. He is unfolding, step by step, something glorious for His Son in every community.”                                                                                                            -Steve Hawthorne
