Praise God, Our Ever-Present Help in Trouble

“You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”                                                                                                                                                                                     Psalm 32:7

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”                                                   Psalm 46:1

Thank You, Lord, that You are our refuge, strength, protector and deliverer in difficult and dangerous situations. We look to You for help.

Pray for Hearts Protected from Violence

“Rescue me, O Lord, from evil men; preserve me from violent men.”                                            Psalm 140:1

“Put away violence and oppression and do what is just and right.”                                                Ezekiel 45:9

Whether violence in the home at the hand of a family member or a random act of terrorism, we pray for Your protection from evil and violent people. May students put away violence and oppression and do what is just and right.

Pray for Hearts to Recover from Trouble and Violence

Lord, we pray for complete healing for those affected by trouble and violence (“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” Psalm 147:3). Bring recovery and hope to those in our school community who have been living in fear and pain.

Please pray for the students and staff of Springfield Local Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Matt Geha.

“The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, ‘O God, forgive me’ or ‘Help me.’”                                         -Billy Graham
