Praise God, Who Serves!

“…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Matthew 20:28

“…but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Philippians 2:7,8

We praise You, Jesus, for becoming a man and taking on the nature of a servant in order to give Your life for those You created. What great love!

Pray for Hearts Willing to Serve

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as You have said.”                                                     Luke 1:3

“The greatest among you will be your servant.”                                                                                                  Matthew 23:11

Lord, would You be raising up a generation who serves You by serving others. Lift the eyes of everyone in our school community beyond themselves to see and meet the needs of others.

Pray for Teachers, Who Serve Daily

“If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well.”                                             Romans 12:7

“…serve one another in love.”                                                                                                                                    Galatians 5:13

We pray that our teachers would find great joy in serving one another and their students from a heart of love. May they serve well and teach well, receiving all that they need from You.

Please pray for the students and staff of Pike-Delta-York Schools and their Superintendent, Dr. Ted Haselman.
