Praise God, Who Keeps His Promises!

“The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.”          Psalm 145:13

“Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass.”                                                                                                                                                                               Joshua 21:45

Lord, You are faithful to every promise in Your word. Thanks that we can trust the words You speak.

Pray for Hearts to Believe God’s Promises

“Abram believed the Lord and He credited it to him as righteousness.”                     Genesis 15:6

“Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.”                                                               Psalm 112:6,7

May everyone in our school community have steadfast hearts that are not shaken, trusting in You and in Your promises.

Pray for Hearts That Keep Their Promises

“I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips.”         Psalm 89:34

“It is better not to make a promise than to make one and not keep it.”                         Ecclesiastes 5:5

Lord, we pray that students will be people of their word, keeping promises and commitments they have made. If they can not keep a promise, may they have the wisdom not to make it in the first place. May they set the example in their homes with truthful words that can be trusted.

Please pray for the students and staff of Eastwood Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Brent Welker.

“Do not work so hard for Christ that you have no strength to pray, for prayer requires strength.”                                                                                                                                     -Hudson Taylor, born 1832, British missionary to China
