Praise Jesus, the Lamb of God!

“The next John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!’”                                                                                                                                                              John 1:29

“Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”                                        Revelation 7:10

Jesus, this Easter we praise You for being willing to leave heaven and come to earth as a spotless lamb, as a sacrifice for our sin. Just as people recognized 2,000 years ago that You were the God of salvation, may eyes be opened today to the truth that You take away the sin of the world.

Pray for Hearts to Receive Salvation

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”                                                                                                                                                              Acts 4:12

“The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear?”                                                               Psalm 27:1

Jesus, we ask that You would open the eyes and hearts of the children to understand their need for forgiveness and to receive Your salvation. Salvation is found in no one else but You.

Pray for Hearts to Share the Good News of Salvation

“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done…”                                                                                                                                                                                                              Isaiah 12:4

“I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Acts 13:47

May students who know You respectfully make known to others what You have done as our light and salvation.

Please pray for the students and staff of Gibsonburg Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Tim Murray.

“…the deepest spiritual lessons are not learned by His letting us have our way in the end, but by His making us wait, bearing with us in love and patience until we’re able to honestly pray what He taught His disciples to pray: Thy will be done.”                                                                                                            -Elisabeth Elliott, Christian author/speaker
